The complete group will assemble at Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. The trip will officially commence from JMC College and the return vehicle will also drop the complete group back at JMC College.

Attendance / headcount will be conducted before departure from JMC College, before leaving the hotel for sightseeing, at major movement points, before departure from McLeod Ganj, and after arrival back at JMC College. Students are expected to remain with the group and follow the instructions of faculty representatives, Trip Captain and coordinators.

The order of sightseeing may be changed depending upon traffic conditions, weather, local restrictions, opening / closing timings, group movement, and operational feasibility. All major attractions mentioned in the itinerary will be covered subject to local conditions and time availability.

All travel and sightseeing timings are approximate and may change depending upon traffic, weather and road conditions.

Triund camping has intentionally not been included in this itinerary because proper washroom facilities are not available at the campsite. In many camping areas at Triund, there are no regular toilets or attached washrooms, and travellers may have to use basic open-pit toilet arrangements in designated areas. For a college department group, especially with a larger number of students, this may not be comfortable, hygienic or suitable for everyone. Therefore, keeping student comfort, privacy and hygiene in mind, we have replaced the Triund camping stay with a second hotel night in McLeod Ganj. This gives the group access to proper rooms and washrooms while also allowing us to add more sightseeing around Naddi, Dal Lake, Dharamshala Tea Garden, War Memorial and other nearby attractions.
